“It is within your power to gratify your every wish. Success is a result of the way you think. Success is the result of certain moods of mind or ways of thinking. These moods can be controlled by you and produced at will.” – Theron Q. Dumont
Human beings have evolved into what we are because of our ability to think. Look at the buildings and structures around you. They are the result of concentrated thought. One man may plan the design. Another may build it, and another may produce the material from which it is made. All you see around you came from nature; however, it was through the thinking of great minds that we have all of the infrastructure, technology, and medicine that we have today.
The same power of thought that the giants of science, art, or whatever field of endeavor, have is the same power that exists in you. There is nothing to prevent you from getting what you want if what you want is right. If you choose something that is not right, you place yourself in opposition with the omnipotent plans of the universe and you will undoubtably fail.
Basing your desires in good-will aligns you with universal currents and you can depend upon your inevitable success. Don’t concentrate upon your current situation if it isn’t ideal but concentrate on where it is you want to be and maintain an unshakable belief that you will eventually get there. Plan carefully on your success so that you do not act against the tides of universal justice, or you will be swept away into ruin.
The way you think and the thoughts that you concentrate upon produce a vibration that attracts things of a similar nature. So, when you find yourself challenged or temporarily at a loss, do not let yourself fall victim to negative thoughts and mental moods. Though many things may seem out of your control, you are in direct control of your thoughts and moods, and this is exactly the time to show what you are made of by rising above your situation and choosing to think positively when others would choose to be victims.
“So, if you should face the time when everything seems against you, quiet your fears, drive away all destructive thoughts and uphold the dignity of your moral and spiritual life.” – Theron Q. Dumont.
“If you are unable to control your fears, just say to your faulty determination, “Do not falter or be afraid, for I am not really alone. I am surrounded by invisible forces that will assist me to remove the uncomfortable appearances.” Soon you will have more courage. The only difference between the fearless man and the fearful one is in his will, his hope” – Theron Q. Dumont
Whatever it is that you are doing, give your full attention to it. This is an excellent way to develop concentration, for when you allow your mind to wander is when you are most susceptible to negative thoughts. Keep busy. If you don’t have the time to worry, then you will give yourself a better chance of maintaining your concentration on what it is that you are working towards.
While you are working towards what you want, you will attract to yourself others who are thinking in similar ways, and they will help you get to where you want to be. If the idea of attracting what you want into your life just by thinking about it still seems a little out there, then think of it logically.
If you are around people who want the same things as you, if you talk about those things often, read about them and learn how to get them, then doesn’t the probability of you getting what you want go up? If you teach yourself how to concentrate and train your will to do whatever it is you need to do, then aren’t you more likely to succeed?
